Supporting disabled people to be included

Nearly a quarter of the UK population is disabled in some way, whether physical or mental. They come from all walks of life, all ages, all races, all genders and all faiths. And every one of them has the right to live the life they choose with dignity and with the same opportunities offered to others. Our aim is to provide practical and emotional support to see every disabled person is fully included in society.

Inclusion Through Supportive Communities

Everyone benefits from being a part of a community who can support and understand their challenges. When surrounded by others who understand their hopes and dreams and who will give them the confidence to confront obstacles, anyone can live a better life.

The InclUSion community provides an online space to show up and share, ask questions and connect with like-minded individuals and our accessible adventures encourage everyone to step out of their comfort zone and explore new worlds.

Inclusive Events

InclUSion runs a series of awareness-raising events to highlight the challenges that disabled individuals face in accessing the world around them.

From canal rides to cycling marathons, we use these ‘accessible adventures’ to raise awareness, generate funds and empower people with disabilities to enjoy new experiences.

Our campaigns align with local and national government agendas, and we work closely with media and social media platforms, including GB News, Clubhouse, and LinkedIn, to give disabled individuals a voice and to raise awareness of their needs.

"I am so grateful to MJ for believing in me. Long live Inclusion.

Being involved with Inclusion for over fifteen years has allowed me to sort out the chaotic elements of my life caused by my mental health issues, such as shopping addiction resulting in major debts. This relief and holistic package of support, tailored to my ever-changing and evolving needs, allowed me to study and achieve my BA Hons in Fine Art. I then decided for my professional studies module to ‘give back’ by collaborating with Inclusion to secure funding and create twelve more academically trained artists. These were people who were ‘NEET’ and had no confidence in themselves. By the model of ‘by the disabled, for the disabled,’ we showed them that they too could achieve this."

"M-J has an incredible way of connecting the dots, and I’m ever so grateful for everything she does.

I came to know about inclUSion after accessing an Omeo through Accessibility Partners, and since then, it’s been an incredible journey. I attended M-J’s fundraising hand cycle marathon for inclUSion, and it was a fantastic experience. Through her support, we were able to access Boatmobility in the Cotswolds, and I’ve witnessed firsthand the hard work and dedication of the inclUSion members. M-J delivers truly insightful talks, and I’m also grateful for the great healthy coffee she can link me up with, which helps inclUSion too. It really is a win-win-win."

"THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all you have done to bring me back to life again.

I have a new lease of life that I never thought I would experience again after my accident. Something that has caused tremendous anxiety and depression thinking I was just... simply useless. I was reluctant to accept any form of help due to my pride but with M-J's coaching and understanding I was able to believe in the support being offered and wish I had taken it up sooner…."

"It has taken a long time to learn and grow.

When I met you this was all a pipe dream and you and your belief in me, gave me the strength to make it happen. I can’t thank you enough MJ"

"I now attend university something I never thought would be possible

I began coming to inclUSion over three years ago. What MJ and  my referral to accessibility partners has done for me is totally amazing; the support, the friendships, the community. Most of all they have helped me achieve"

"Their work has made a big impact on my private life and work as an architect.

I can't endorse MJ and her team enough. They referred me to their sister services which navigated the complexities of the 'Access to Work' program with me which led me to receiving an Omeo wheelchair which I absolutely love."

"I’ve had a challenging past. I’m disabled too, I have experienced the mental health challenges most kids in care can experience.

I’ve been involved with Inclusion for the last two years. I’ve supported them with the Inclusion events in Cardiff. They’ve helped me out with welfare benefits advice, they’ve provided information when I’ve desperately needed it, guidance when I’ve asked for it, and always offered a helping hand, an open heart, and a willing ear and they can even provide an amazing cup of coffee and the most delicious chocolate”
